A long-awaited health and fitness club will open its doors this December, it has been revealed.
David Lloyd Clubs has announced its new Bury St Edmunds facility on the Marham Park estate will be opening to the public in less than four months’ time.
Kristen Westwood, new general manager at David Lloyd Bury St Edmunds, said: “I’m really excited to welcome members to the new Bury St Edmunds Club in December.
“Building a community of members is what makes David Lloyd Clubs such a special place and I can’t wait for our members to all experience the fantastic facilities.
“To have seen such interest in the new club already displays the demand for a new health and wellbeing facility. We’ve seen a lot of people secure their memberships and cannot wait to welcome them in in December, with many more booking in an appointment with our team to enjoy a virtual 3D tour of the fantastic new club.
“Memberships at David Lloyd Bury St Edmunds are limited, so I’d recommend anyone considering joining the new club to book a virtual tour or secure their membership avoid disappointment.”
The Bury St Edmunds site will house a 100+ station gym, variety of signature group exercise classes, including relaxing sound and dance meditation, as well as the family favourite group classes.
It will also have a heated indoor and outdoor pool, tennis and padel courts, and expert sports coaching.
There is also a spa retreat including a Himalayan salt sauna, rainforest experience shower, citrus steam room, ice cave, plunge pool and hydrotherapy pool.
